Glossary: Youth Rehabilitation Order (YRO)

The YRO is the standard generic community sentence for young people who offend, providing a ‘menu’ of interventions for tackling offending behaviour. Implemented on 30th November 2009 under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act.
