Regulation 5 – Engaging with the Wider System to Ensure Each Child’s Needs are Met
Each home will have its own daily routine, for both staff and children. Each home will have clear expectations of behaviour which may be called ‘House rules’. It is important that everyone (children and staff) know these expectations. These expectations or ‘House Rules’ should be clearly visible to the children and staff. They could be be posted in the staff office, in the Children’s’ Guide and on children’s notice boards. The expectations or house rules will be revised regularly in consultation with the children and staff team.
