Unregulated Placements are never acceptable. However, as a Trust we endeavour to be realistic and ensure that above all else our children are safe. The Unregulated Settings guidance enables a consistent approach that can provide some assurance that safeguards are in place for children placed in unregulated arrangements, and that management oversight and scrutiny is prioritised for these children.
