Welcome to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Children's Services Procedures Manual

Cambridgeshire County Council's (CCC) and Peterborough City Council's (PCC) Children's Services have become separate local authority services and no longer share all of their services. Soon, their procedures will be available in separate and distinct online procedure manuals.

While we undertake the work to separate the procedures for the 2 authorities and reinstate their individual manuals please continue to use this shared version until further notice. If there is any confusion please contact your line manager for clarification.

These procedures are designed to support front-line practitioners and managers with good practice and play an important role in ensuring the quality and timeliness of our work in achieving the best outcomes for children and their families. They will continue to be updated regularly to reflect national and local changes to legislation, policy and practice.
