Minor Works and Low Level Equipment

Development of this procedure

Where required this procedure should be developed by the customer. Examples can be provided and the tri.x lead can provide additional guidance if needed.

The section should cover everything practitioners need to know including:

  1. Charging for minor works and low level equipment-should say nil charge;
  2. How to provide information and advice about available minor works and low level adaptations;
  3. Who can arrange minor works and low level adaptations and in what circumstances (including the role of any OT team);
  4. How to arrange minor works and low level adaptations;
  5. How to record minor works and low level equipment provided;
  6. How to monitor and review minor works and low level equipment;
  7. Removing equipment that is no longer needed or appropriate;
  8. If the person moves.

The section can be structured as per your own preferences but tri.x would suggest using key headings and a high level of CMS links, as opposed to a high level of written text. This will allow for greater customer control in updating information as and when local processes may change.
